Messaging Guide

The Jopwell Platform is intended to allow our Partners to cultivate meaningful connections with our Community members. Platform Messaging is a crucial component when building these connections. This section will outline the following: -How to Message a Candidate -Custom Messages -Message Templates -Message History -Bulk Messaging

How to Message a Candidate

There are several ways to message a candidate on the Jopwell Platform. This section will cover how to navigate and message a candidate from their Jopwell profile.

Log in to Jopwell.com and select Search in the top navigation bar and select from our pool of Students or Professionals.

Browse through Candidates and select a profile.

Once you have been routed to the candidate profile, you will be able to review their experience, download their existing resume or convert their profile to pdf, save the candidate for later, and message them directly. To message a candidate select the green box that says Message. Candidate Profile - Messaging.png

Note: We will revisit saving candidates for later in our section on Bulk Messaging.

 

Custom Messages

Once you have selected message a window will pop up displaying the option to use a Message Template or to create a Custom Message.

Should you select Custom Message you will be routed to the following screen and will be able to compose a message of your choosing. You will be given the option to save your message as a New Template.

Message Templates

Once you have selected message a window will pop up displaying the option to use a default Message Template or to create a Custom Message.

Should you remain on the open Message Templates screen you will need to select a Template and Select A Job you wish to connect. As soon as Selections are input the Template will populate with all relevant information from the candidate profile, as well as your corresponding credentials.

Please Note: We strongly encourage that you select edit in order to review the dynamic fields input under Template Variables to ensure all items are populating prior to sending your message to candidates.

Message History

When you send messages on the Jopwell platform records are retained. If you are ever unsure if a message has sent, review the Message History in the top navigation bar.

Please Note: Your original Message will not display. All message replies will be routed to the email account attached to the recruiter seat and should continue off platform.

Should a candidate not respond our team at Jopwell will follow up directly on all messages sent on platform. Note that our team is unable to follow up on messages sent off platform as we do not have visibility. 

Bulk Messaging

Browse Candidates and select a profile. Candidate Profile - Messaging.png

When you select  “Save Candidate” you will be prompted to Create Project or to add the Candidate to an existing Project.

Note: We encourage you to name Projects efficiently by including role titles and time indicators where ever possible

To find your saved candidates select Projects in the top navigation bar. From there you will see "My Projects" and containing all candidates saved and files created. To Bulk Message you will need to check the box next to your current Project and select "Message."

You will see the Message window populate with the Message Template option. You will need to select a template and a corresponding job.

Note: You have the option to review each candidate selected and can remove if need be.
